At the young age of 27 Jimmi Hendrix died in London. Reports from the days leading to his death suggest the stress of public life and long working hours had lead to severe fatigue. That coupled with a possible bout of the flu had left him in a serious health state.
In 1970 on September the 18th Hendrix was found unresponsive in a London hotel. He was transported via ambulance to a nearby hospital at 11:18 and pronounced dead by 12:45. He was only 27 years old.
The corner was unable to conclude an exact cause of death and declared the matter an “open verdict.” The autospy report suggested that Hendrix aspirated on his own vomit and died of suffocation while under the influence of barbiturates.
